American Idol: Adam Lambert a Much Bigger Favorite to Win

Having hovered right around even odds, Adam Lambert seemingly sealed the deal this week with his rendition of Tears for Fears "Mad World".  With Sportsbook.com updating their American Idol betting odds following Wednesday night's Results Show, Lambert was now listed as a much larger -250 favorite.  One would have to bet $2.50 to win $1.00 (the $2.50 is paid back only if Lambert wins). 

"Adam Lambert is the one to beat," says Gambling911.com Senior International Correspondent, Jenny Woo.  "That performance was fantastic and none of the other contestants come close to exciting me the way Adam does.  Plus he's hot."

Danny Gokey, who was a favorite to win just three weeks ago, would now pay 3 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.com.

Allison Iraheta - would pay $10 for every $1 bet

Anoop Desai - would pay $50 for every $1 bet

Kris Allen - would pay $10 for every $1 bet

Lil Rounds - would pay $25 for every $1 bet
