Can the Chicago Bears Cover the Spread Against the LA Chargers Sunday Night?

The Chargers were seeing better than 82% of the action overnight Saturday against the visiting Bears yet books continue to move the line between 8.5 and 9 and back down to 8.5.  As of Sunday morning, 80% of those betting this game on the spread were backing LA.  A number of books were back up to 9 (BetOnline, Bookmaker).  Others opted to stay on the 8.5, for now (DraftKings, Circa, Bovada, Americas Bookie).

Something Not Quite Right

There is no way any book should be moving this number down dangling the 8.5 when we've already had them on the 9 for long stretches.  This is a Sunday night game.  Despite both teams disappointing records, a Sunday Night Football game is going to attract plenty of action.  Circa hasn't moved off the 8.5 all week.  Pinnacle was on the 8.  Sagarin is giving us a number of Chargers 7.88.  One of the top NFL cappers this season, Bobby Babowski, is backing the Chargers here. As this was going to press, most of the books moved to the 9.5. Scroll Down for More

The Bobby B Factor

In the NFL over the past 14 days, Bobby Babowski has led the pack with a 7-2 record.  He's 13-6 over the last 30 days and 25-12 for the season thus far, ranking No. 1 of all G911 Sports Hub cappers.

The question of the hour is Do we bet against Bobby B this evening?

Things to Consider

That Sagarin 7.88 we feel compelled to believe may be accurate.

The Chargers blowing out the Bears seems highly unlikely as LA has won by no more than a touchdown in their two victories.

Chicago's last two losses were by no more than six points.

The Bears have won two of their last three games.

Is Tyson Bagent for real?  He's the new starting quarterback for the Bears and is coming off an impressive win last week against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Bears defense will be without Jaquan Brisker and possibly Eddie Jackson.

The Chargers do have a pourous defense.

Aiyuk-Deebo Trade Odds and ROY Shift

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
