What to Bet

Houston at around EVEN payout odds to win the AFC South

Texans So Far This Season

From NFL.com: "Only in the AFC South could the Houston Texans reside in first place. Even diehard Texans fans will tell you this team hasn't been playing well. However, Houston has found ways to win, and that's half the battle in this parity-driven enterprise we watch every week. Noticeable in Sunday's victory: A) Tyrann Mathieu's drive-snuffing pick of Cody Kessler in the fourth quarter, B) DeAndre Hopkins winning a few hands against Jalen Ramsey and C) Lamar Miller rushing for 100 yards. No really, it's true. Look it up, man. Also from the box score: one tackle for Andre Hal. That's the coolest story from this game."

Texans 2018-2019 Odds

Now at -125 odds to win the AFC South, the price will increase with a win this week, especially if Jacksonville fails again.  Lock these payout odds in before Thursday night's game.  They are at 30-1 odds of winning the 2019 Super Bowl.

Dolphins vs. Texans Line Move, Public Betting Action

The line on this game has moved between -6.5 and -7.5 though most books have moved a mere half price between -7 and -7.5.

Dolphins vs. Texans Betting Trends

Miami beat the Texans 44-26 back in 2015.

AthlonSports offered up their prediction:

“The Dolphins are a hard team to figure out. They started out the season 3-0 with wins over the Titans, Jets and Raiders. After that, Miami lost three of their next four as the schedule got tougher and they started to play more road games. The team is coming off a 32-21 loss at home to Detroit as Brock Osweiler started once again. Osweiler couldn't build off his really good game against the Bears two weeks ago. The defense has been up and down this season as well. They've held four teams under 300 passing yards while the other three times teams have found success through the air.

“Houston has been quite the opposite as they started out the year 0-3 before going on their current four-game win streak. Deshaun Watson has cooled off a bit after a hot stretch toward the end of September. The offense has been underwhelming the last three weeks, but it hasn't mattered with the defense doing its job.”

They believe Houston will demolish Miami on Thursday.

The NFL Betting Power Ratings do indicate a line of Houston -7.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
