Betting Baseball – The Hot Sheet: June 3

After going 2-0 over the weekend, Gambling911.com dropped one Sunday with Cincinnati in overtime against Pittsburgh.

BetOnline

Today we will be on the Reds again at a higher price than we tend to go with when making picks.  We are able to get Cincinnati at -132 at BetOnline compared to the over -140 numbers we are seeing elsewhere.

Cincinnati has won the last 5 games in this series, are 20-6 in their last 26 home games and are 7-1 after losing their previous game.

The Reds are 5-1 in Bronson Arroyo’s last 6 home starts.  Colorado starts Tyler Chatwood, who will make his first appearance against the Reds.  Chatwood has pitched quite well, we should note.

Oakland A’s +109 – What’s not to love about this team that has won 9 of their last 10 games and will head to Milwaukee, a team that is just 21-34.

The Athletics swept this series last year.  They are 14-6 in Tom Milone's last 20 starts on grass and are 6-1 in his last 7 starts as an underdog.

The Athletics are 8-1 in their last 9 interleague games vs. a right-handed starter.

Milwaukee is 3-13 in their last 16 games as a favorite.

The Brewers are 0-11 in their last 11 games as a favorite of -110 to -150.

The Brewers are 0-7 in their last 7 home games vs. a left-handed starter.

Marco Estrada is Milwaukee’s one ray of hope.  The Brewers are 9-2 in his last 11 home starts and are 14-6 in Estrada's last 20 starts.

It’s still very hard not to take Oakland as an underdog in this situation.
