You can bet the Astros-Orioles series where the odds for Friday had both clubs at -105 depending on the book and a total of 9.5.

FRIDAY’S PITCHING MATCHUP: Astros RH Collin McHugh (7-10, 4.70 ERA) vs. Orioles LH Wade Miley (7-10, 5.23)

McHugh is 1-0 with a 4.74 ERA in four starts against Baltimore.  He has allowed 25 hits off of 84 at bats versus the current Baltimore roster.  This includes 8 extra base hits.

Miley is 0-1 in two starts against Houston this season despite yielding four runs in 12 2/3 innings, and is 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA in six career games versus the Astros.

Houston is 3-13 in the last 16 meetings in Baltimore.

Note that on Sunday, Baltimore starts Yovani Gallardo, who is 29-for-93 versus the current Astros lineup.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
