Though Aaron Rodgers is expected to play on Sunday, he will not have practiced much and this could spell trouble for the Packers as they are set to host Seattle on Sunday.

The oddsmakers don't seem very concerned as the line has dropped from -5 to -3 favoring Green Bay.

When asked if there was any thought whether he might not play on Sunday, Rodgers told the Pat McAfee on this radio show "I think there is a possibility," then clarified, "a small possibility".

Rodgers is recovering from Covid-19 and the backlash that followed after it was revealed he had misrepresented his vaccination status during a press conference earlier in the season.  The NFL has considered Rodgers to be "unvaccinated".

The NFL's review of the Green Bay Packers' COVID-19 protocols was completed Tuesday, and a league source said the team was fined $300,000, while quarterback Aaron Rodgers and receiver Allen Lazard were each fined $14,650.

The team was warned that future violations could result in increased discipline, including possible change in draft position or loss of draft choice.

Among the violations cited, Rodgers not wearing a mask during his news conferences and the team failing to report that Rodgers and another player, Allen Lazard, had attended a Halloween party last week prior to the Covid-19 positive test result.
