Miss India 2008 Miss Universe Betting Odds: Heavy Action Reported

Miss India is among the most bet on of the 2008 Miss Universe pageant representatives according to the oddsmakers at BetOnline.com

"Miss India Simran Kaur Mundi had been listed with double digit odds and is now at +800," reports Gambling911.com Operations Manager, Payton O'Brien.  "That's an $800 payout potential for every $100 bet."

The 22-year-old Mumbai girl has already topped in her group for the Best National Costume. All the contestants at the pageant were divided into nine groups, and the toppers from each group would vie for the Best National Costume title, which – as a departure from the norm – would be selected after an online poll.

Simran topped her group by wearing a dazzling laacha-choli designed by Ritu Kumar .

Apart from this, Simran has also emerged among the top five in other sub-contests like the Swimwear Show and Ao Dai Show.

Prior to these impressive wins, however, Miss India had already garnered the most betting action at some online gambling sites outside of the primary favorites such as Miss Venezuela, Miss Puerto Rico and Miss USA.
