Gambling911.com is working hard to deliver the very best in sports picks each day, considering past trends and other variables that might impact particular matchups.  All of our picks and predictions are free and provide valuable insight, even if the team we select happens to lose. Though we typically feature separate articles focused on our predictions and betting analyses for that day, be sure to check out our 2021 betting event calendar for a breakdown of focus games and picks.

On Saturday we went 2-0 with our Euro 2020 picks and 1-1 in the MLB.  We followed that up with a 3-1 showing in the MLB.

The White Sox were the only team that let us down on Sunday.  That was a bit of a surprise as Chicago has dominated Detroit of late.  Entering Saturday, the Tigers had lost 18 of their past 20 games to the American League Central-leading White Sox.  Chicago was a -170 favorite.

Detroit batters were just .248 hitting 32 of 132 at bats vs. Lucas Giolito (6-5, 3.84 ERA).  Six of those were homers.

Detroit started Matt Manning (1-2, 8.16 ERA) - Manning was lit up for nine runs in 3 2/3 innings by the Indians on Monday.  He had his first win prior to that versus the Cardinals.

Manning gave up two runs over 2 2/3 innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the White Sox, but Giolito was obliterated for six runs over five innings on Sunday in the loss.

Giolito, a decent pitcher, next faces off against the Orioles on Saturday, but that game is likely to feature a price over -190 especially with Thomas Eshelman (0-1 ERA) expected to start.

One of our top plays of the day was on Tampa Bay at an outstanding value of +150 following their five-game slump.  "Do Rays Come Out of Their 5-Game Funk? Jays Just .143 Hitting Against Yarbrough" was our top story at one point heading into Sunday. Yarbrough allowed one run over five innings on Sunday in a win over the Blue Jays.
