“We are working to solve the issue as quickly as possible. Any funds you have on Monkey Knife Fight are secure and available to be withdrawn at any time, should you wish,” the company said in a statement.

State gambling regulators are imposing new rules on the companies that run the popular online games.

Lawmakers banned use of autodrafts to select players.  Participants must be permitted to select their own players.

To operate in Ohio, fantasy sites must purchase a three-year license from the state that costs from $3,000 to $30,000, depending on how many people pay entry fees to join the site.

Violators of any of these rules could face a fine or see their license suspended or revoked, among other punishments.

The company had been advertising heavily in the state, including via billboards, prior to the decision.

Monkey Knife Fight is a unique online fantasy sports prop hybrid site.  It utilizes a prop game platform, an example of which would be correctly guessing the OVER/UNDER number of passing yards for the two starting quarterback.  Some of these games pay 3X the initial buy-in (stake).  MKF is considered a Daily Fantasy Sports-prop hybrid game/platform.

Current sports offerings are: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Soccer, and Golf.  College is excluded at this time.

The Monkey Knife Fight games should prove popular in the Buckeye State with so many fanatic sports fans cheering on their Ohio State football team in particular.
