California Sports Betting

Though the US Supreme Court ruled to abolish restrictions on sports betting nationwide last year, California's legislature failed to act in time to amend its own state laws. As such there are no sportsbooks operating in-state for the 2019 football season.

This is likely to be the case over the next couple of tribal nations in the state remain in conflict and lawmakers simply do not have the appetite to push for legislation.
