Auburn vs. Virginia

6:09 pm EST Saturday April 6

UVA is a -5 favorite after opening at -5.5.  Some books still had the number at -5.5.

Between the two games Auburn was seeing the most action at around 62% on the spread.  With the exception of Bookmaker, which was moving the line from -5 to -5.5, most books were moving in accordance with the action.

Sagarin indicates the line should be Cavs -5, so this one is right on the money.

UVA has been insane Against The Spread, going 25-11 (5th best ATS record this season).  They only have three losses on the season.  Auburn comes into this game 30-9 SU and 21-16 ATS.

The Tigers are 8-2 ATS in their last ten games.

Cavs are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 NCAA Tournament games.

Back in December, Auburn was listed at 33/1 odds to win the Championship, Virginia was at 12/1 odds (5th shortest odds).

Texas Tech vs. Michigan State

8:49 pm EST Saturday April 6

The line opened at MSU -3 and has drifted a half point down to -2.5.  Some books were still holding at -3.

Early on the Spartans were seeing 60% of the action.

Sagarin indicates the line should be Michigan State -3.

Both these teams have six losses on the season.

MSU will come into this game 26-9 Against The Spread in their last 35 overall.

Red Raiders are 11-1 Against The Spread in their last 12 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

Back in December, Texas Tech had 40/1 odds of winning the NCAA Men's College Basketball Championship, MSU had 33/1 odds.
