After a nice appetizer last weekend that included an onside kick ordered up by Chef Scott Frost that didn't exactly satisfy anyone's hunger, unless they happen to be a sadist, we finally are getting a full course of College Football weekend of action.  The bets are pouring in, according to oddsmakers.  It's going to be the biggest football weekend opener ever for the sportsbooks.

The All Access team is here with some very special guests to break down the upcoming season.

First Drew Butler and Gabe Ikard discuss the biggest games on the card and share their expert predictions.

Then our very own Ally Melendez chats with college football expert Danny Kanell for a full season preview.

Meanwhile, Dave Mason of BetOnline posted the 2022 College Football Championship liabilities.  These are the bets that will be most costly to the book.  BYU, for example, is the 5th biggest liability.  Because they are coming in at 250-1 odds, all that's really needed is a few bets to give Dave and his crew a serious migrane should the Cougars walk off with a Championship.

BYU will be a -12 road favorite in South Florida Saturday but they face Baylor and Oregon, the later on the road, over the next three weeks.

Oklahoma at 25-1 odds will be the biggest liability should they win a Championship.

New Sooners head coach Brent Venables spoke glowingly of hiis starting quarterback, Dillon Gabriel.

"Dillon Gabriel's a winner," Venables said. "You can't say it any better than that. I can lay my head down at night knowing not just what [Gabriel] has done on the football field, but the quality of the person he is. He's about all the right stuff. He's dependable, he's reliable, he's accountable, he's humble."

The bookmakers won't know if they've dodged a bullet with Oklahoma for a few weeks at least.  They open as a -30 point favorite against UTEP then host Kent State.  A trip to Nebraska doesn't instill much confidence in sportsbook operators after that Week 0 loss to Northwestern in Dublin, Ireland.

Notably missing from the list: Favorites to actually win the Championship that include the likes of Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State.

Even at the much shorter odds, it's somewhat surprising that the amount of volume would not have landed these teams on the liabilities list.  In fact, the team with the shortest odds to appear here is USC at 22-1.

The Trojans are expected to win 9.5 regular season games in 2022, according to oddsmakers.

Head coach Lincoln Riley made it abundantly clear his expectations for the Trojans this season.   That means going to a national championship, and those 22-1 odds to do so place them among the teams with the ten shortest odds.

"I don't think (the expectations are) too much," said Riley. "I don't. I believe in what we're doing. I believe in what we're teaching. I believe in the people that we have in there."

"Not my place to say whether (the expectations are) fair or not. Like I said in my opening press conference, before even one of these players had come in, I mean, you don't come to USC and you don't come to Los Angeles to do things small. You got to set your sights big."

Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh and Baylor are three more teams that promise Triple digit payouts and a punch to the gut of sportsbook operators.
