NFL Betting – Saturday Divisional Playoff Round Games 2020

NFL Betting – Saturday Divisional Playoff Round Games 2020

Breaking a five-year playoff drought in style, the NFC’s top-seeded San Francisco 49ers look to keep things rolling against the upset-minded Minnesota Vikings, who went into the Big Easy last week as a 7.5-point dog and walked out with a thrilling overtime victory. Kirk Cousins got his first playoff win and San Fran’s Jimmy Garoppolo will try and do the same on Saturday. The AFC’s top seed is in action in the late game with Lamarr Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens looking to knock down the Tennessee Titans, who ensured there would be a new Super Bowl champion this season by taking out the Patriots last week.

AFC Divisional Round Betting Pick: Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens

AFC Divisional Round Betting Pick: Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens

The Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs is now complete, but what a weekend it was. There were several upsets that took place, and a couple of games went into overtime. It’s time to turn our attention to the Divisional Round in the AFC. The top-seeded Baltimore Ravens will host the sixth-seeded Tennessee Titans in one of these games. Baltimore should be well rested, while the Tennessee Titans should have a ton of momentum.

Tom Brady Retirement, Free Agency Props

Tom Brady Retirement, Free Agency Props

The New England Patriots have been eliminated from the NFL playoffs at the hands of the Tennessee Titans.  To hear the mainstream sports media tell it this is a shocking turn of events.  Sports bettors know otherwise and understand that the Patriots overachieved this year to finish 12-4 taking advantage of a tough defense and weak schedule.  Their offense has struggled all year and has been downright pitiful in the second half of the season and that was likely their undoing.

NFL Betting – 2020 NFC Wild Card Games

Some familiar faces are back in the NFC playoffs with the New Orleans Saints looking to overcome heartbreaking defeats in the last two postseasons with a home contest against the Minnesota Vikings in the wild card round. One of those losses took place two seasons ago to the same Vikings team in what has become known as the Minneapolis Miracle. Last year’s loss to the Rams in the NFC Championship may have been even worse with the officials not calling a blatant pass interference penalty. That’s all water under the bridge and the Saints are focused after winning a third straight NFC South title. The Philadelphia Eagles were the best of the worst and “earned” a home game by winning the NFC East with a 9-7 record. They host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night in the final game of Wild Card Weekend.

In our previous article we discussed ‘Black Monday’--the Monday after the end of the NFL regular season and the traditional ‘day of reckoning’ for pro football coaches.  Professionally competent coaches are more concerned about the playoffs and their candidacy  for  Coach of the Year'   Bad coaches have heard repeatedly throughout the season that they’re on the ‘hot seat’ and that they’re reminded constantly of their dubious situation by the media.
