For both men, it was their first World Series of Poker bracelets.

Baker won the Eight Game Mix and pocketed $271,312.  He now has just shy of $2.7 million in live winnings to date, having cashed out in 83 events.

This is Baker’s 4th cash at this year’s World Series of Poker, with the highest finish prior to this weekend’s win at 3rd place in Event #22, the Limit Deuce to Seven Lowball.  He walked away with $59,925 from that event.

Nguyen has won $151,411 in live tournaments to date prior to this weekend’s 1st place finish.   Tack on another $607,200 after his Event #38: No Limit Hold’em win.
