Amateur Aadam Daya has won the WSOP 2010 Stimulus Package poker tournament and the $625,872 that came with it.

4345 players from across the globe participated in the least expensive of the WSOP events.  The buy-in was a mere US$1000.

Daya, a Canadian businessman whose previous largest win was just under $25,000, had this to say immediately following the victory:

"[Winning the bracelet] means I've accomplished something in poker that I've been trying to achieve for quite a while.  I dreamed about it, obviously. But I did not expect anything like this."

Notable finishers from Event 3 include Eric Baldwin (15th), Jonathan Aguiar (44th) and Lee Markholt (94th).  A father-son tandem also sat at the final table, a first for the World Series of Poker. Richard Rice finished ninth and his father, Irving, finished 10th.
