Everybody these days in the world of online poker is asking the question:  Who is online poker phenom Isildur1?

The folks from WickedChopsPoker.com were asking around the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic for people's take on who isildur1 really is.

"Surprisingly, off-camera most of the people really didn't know. The two prevailing opinions were that it was this Viktor Blom guy (here) or that Andy Beal opened an account with a Swedish address."

So many people believe Isildur1 is Viktor blom that websites will sometimes put his name beside the handle in brackets.

Blom must be feeling pretty good about this.  But imagine for a moment he is NOT Isildur1.  How funny would that be?  He's yet to step forward and admit it.

Isildur1's mystique is that he's among the most winningest online poker players when it comes to high stakes play and he's knocked out some of the big boys along the way including Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius.
