Vanessa Selbst Out: Amit Makhija Leads at WSOP

World Series of Poker bracelet winners, Jason Somerville and Vanessa Selbst had been moved to the feature tablewith just under 80 players remaining mid afternoon Sunday local time. Selbst busted just as this was going to press.

A lot of eyes were glued to Frenchwoman Gaelle Baumann, who remained among the top 15 chip leaders.  She was trending upwards at press time.

Poker pro Amit Makhija, with $1.8 million in cash winnings to date, was the chip leader.  Makhija finished 2nd at the 2008 Legends of Poker WPT Event, his highest finish and cashout at $563,320.

The players were dropping like flies with Day 6 expected to conclude with 27 still seated.
