Noted female poker pro Vanessa Selbst is among the most successful on the live circuit and, once again, she caps off another one million dollar year.

The Brooklyn, New York native is closing in on $5 million lifetime tournament earnings.  Her biggest win came just over a year ago at the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event – No Limit Hold’em, where her first place finish resulted in nearly $2 million.  Months prior to this, Selbst won the PokerStars NAPT Mohegan Sun Season 1 NAPT Main Event – No Limit Hold’em.

Here's how she did it (source PokerStars.com Blog):

  NBC National Heads-Up Championship 2011, Las Vegas: $ 75,000

  NAPT Mohegan Sun: $450,000

  EPT San Remo: $10,931

  $5,000 WSOP Pot Limit Omaha - Six Handed: $23,519

  $1,500 Epic Poker League Pro-Am: $3,170

  EPT Barcelona € 5,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event: $14,407

  2011 Borgata Poker Open: $18,868

  UKIPT £1,000 No Limit Hold'em/Pot Limit Omaha: $7,112

  WSOPE  €1,000 No Limit Hold'em: $4,529

  WSOPE €3,000 No Limit Hold'em Shootout: $9,235

  EPT San Remo: $19,302

  2011 Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic: $338,351

Earlier this year, Ms. Selbst wrote:  "I'm excited for what the future holds, but of course, as always with us poker players, it can change any minute, so who really knows? That's why I'm constantly trying to live in the 'now' and not feel bound by future plans."
