Poker Pro Chris Moorman Enters 2010 Ranked #1

Chris Moorman has a lot to defend in 2010. The pro for DoylesRoom.com's (see Doyles Room Online Poker site here) Brunson 10 was ranked #1 worldwide on PocketFives.com's list of online poker tournament players, an achievement that quantifies the unequaled respect he's earned among the online poker community.



In addition to including tournament wins and online poker successes, the PocketFives ranking system also takes into account long-term successes at the tables and incorporates a polling system to determine the top players.



Fellow online poker tournament players were asked to select the players that they believe will be successful in the future based on past performances. After a string of successes in 2009, it remains fairly obvious why Moorman had been chosen as the #1 pro.


His online poker tournament wins in 2009 include $28,000 in a $65k Guarantee in February, $88,166 in a Daily $100 Rebuy in February, $39,750 in a $150k Guarantee in March, and $52,950 in a Daily $100 Rebuy in September.



Moorman was also ranked fourth in both CardPlayer's and Bluff's Online Player of the Year Leaderboard rankings in 2009.



Chris Moorman joined The Brunson 10 in mid-September as the fourth member of Doyle Brunson's team of elite pros. Moorman's over $1.7 million in lifetime winnings include nine career titles and 148 cashes, made up of online poker successes and several land-based poker achievements.
