The Poker Players Championship 2012 Down to 3

The Poker Players Championship 2012 was down to just three players after 5 pm PST including Michael Mizrachi, Andy Bloch and Chris Klodnicki.

These three individuals have won over $19.2 million between them and stand to win another $2 million and some change total when all is said and done.

1st place gets $1,451,527, 2nd gets $896,935, 3rd gets $561,738.

Both Bloch and Mizrachi already have one World Series of Poker bracelet each. 

 

Rocco Palumbo Wins Event #44 No Limit Hold’em

 

Rocco Palumbo of Italy won Event #44:  No Limit Hold’em and the $464,464 that came with it along with his first ever WSOP bracelet.  Palumbo has won $801,375 in live tournaments to date.

He overcame 2949 entrants to win Event #44.

When Day 2 was all said and done, just 16 players remained to compete for the gold bracelet in Day 3. Among them included bracelet winner Keven Stammen.

 

Joey Weissman Wins Event #46 No Limit Hold’em

 

Joey Weissman (AKA “JWeiss") of Gainesville, Florida, has won the Event #46:  No Limit Hold’em and his first ever bracelet.  The 24-year-old has his biggest win to date with $694,609.
