Phil Ivey Divorces Wife

He's often fittingly referred to as "The Tiger Woods of Poker" and now Phil Ivey is filing for divorce from his wife as the new year approaches.

Ivey and his wife Luciaetta filed the joint petition in a Nevada court on December 22, three days before Christmas.   The divorce was granted today (Tuesday December 29). 

Officially, Ivey is believed to have made $12 million playing poker in live tournaments, but this figure does not include his interest in the online poker room Full Tilt or his winnings on the Net.
