Phil Hellmuth Rumors Escalate: Signing Blockbuster Deal With PokerStars?

The face of UB.com for many years now, World Series of Poker bracelet record holder Phil Hellmuth is rumored to be leaving as part of what might be the biggest cash endorsement deal in the history of poker.
One operator tells Gambling911.com: “He is signing with PokerStars and was offered an amount he could not refuse.”
None of this has been confirmed by UB.com as of yet.
“This will be the biggest news in poker in the coming months,” the operator added.
The rumors grew legs when Hellmuth was seen recently at a PokerStars North American Poker Tour event without his UB.com garb.
Hellmuth’s likeness remains plastered all over the UB.com website as of Thanksgiving Day. The poker pro himself has not referenced the rumors on his Twitter page.
For now, rumors of Hellmuth’s exodus from UB.com remain pure speculation. Those claiming to be “in the know” say it’s only about money and has nothing to do with any dissatisfaction Hellmuth might have with UB.com.
America’s third largest online poker room, UB.com continues to sign new pros on a regular basis including Amazing Race contestant Maria Ho last week.
Last year, Hellmuth was voted one of Gambling911.com's Jenny Woo's 10 Sexiest Poker Players.
