Doyle Brunson sure knows how to pick them. Each member of his team of elite pros, known as The Brunson 10, has earned the right to the legend-in-the-making title that's been bestowed upon them by Doyle Brunson and online poker experts. A look at their performances in 2009 alone reveals why the team, which is only half-full, is on track to become the best group of elite poker players at any online poker destination including Doyles Room.

The success begins with Chris Moorman who had a hallmark year as part of The Brunson 10. He finished fourth in CardPlayer's and Bluff's Online Player of the Year rankings thanks to a milestone year of consistent wins in online poker tournaments. Included among them are: $28,000 in a $65k Guarantee in February; $88,166 in a Daily $100 Rebuy in February; $39,750 in a $150k Guarantee in March; and $52,950 in a Daily $100 Rebuy in September.

Alec Torelli went deep in nearly every tournament he cashed in, raking in nearly $800,000 in live poker room tournaments. Included in that total are two six-figure cashes totaling nearly $600,000 and a handful of double-digit cashes.

The biggest single Brunson 10 tournament cash went to Dani Stern, who collected $548,315 at the 2009 World Series of Poker thanks to a solid final table performance.

Zachary Clark proved to be one of online poker's most consistent players, cashing in nearly 50 online poker and casino tournaments, and finishing in the top 10 in 15 of them.

And Amit Makhija finished in 26th place in the Doyle Brunson 5 Diamond World Poker Classic, collecting $28,569 for his performance. He also finished in the top 10 in five online poker and bricks-and-mortar poker room tournaments.

The Brunson 10 is Doyle Brunson's team of elite poker talent. With five members on a team whose name has been coined to make room for just 10, five spots remain. Doyle Brunson, poker's biggest legend, will continue to handpick members to fill the vacant spots. For more information on The Brunson 10, visit DoylesRoom.com.
