With no change at the top of the Bluff Magazine Poker Player of the Year Rankings in recent days, Card Player has seen Marvin Rettenmaier move into their top 5.  As of Sunday September 25, Rettenmaier was ranked number 3 at Card Player and number 4 at Bluff.

As a result of this move into the top 5, Chris Moorman has fallen out of the Card Player top 5.  Gambling911.com will be meeting with Moorman in the coming week.

Rettenmaier comes to us from Germany and has won just under $600,000 with 27 cashes to date.

11 of those cashes have come this year.  He had one 1st place finish, which was also his biggest cash out of $54,713, at the Grand Poker Series Main Event – No Limit Hold’em.  He has had 6 top 10 finishes this year as well with a 2nd place finish at the EPT Deauville Season 7 No Limit Hold’em.
