Ok, David 'Doc' Sands is not Joran van der Sloot's twin, but one must admit there is an uncanny resemblance! Note to Sands: Grow out your hair, or wear a hat for the next few months!

After a strong showing in Event #24 at the World Series of Poker that earned him $5,505, David "Doc" Sands has taken control of DoylesRoom.com's Become a Legend Leaderboard competition in Las Vegas. With $50,464 in 2010 WSOP winnings, Sands is now sitting comfortably at the top of the leaderboard with 1055.53 points.

David Sands is competing against Daniel Kelly, Faraz Jaka and Michael Martin in Las Vegas at the World Series of Poker in a quest for cash, bracelets and a spot on Doyle Brunson's team of extraordinary players.

The four online poker players are battling for the top spot on the Brunson 10 Become a Legend Leaderboard. Each player will earn points every time they cash in any WSOP event. The player with the most points at the end of the series will be signed to Doyles Brunson's team of pros.

Faraz Jaka isn't too far behind with 325.17 points and $16,607 in winnings. Daniel Kelly holds the third spot with 209.74 points and $3,930 in WSOP earnings. However, with Kelly playing strong on the second day of a $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better tournament, Kelly could rocket up the leaderboard fairly quickly.

Michael Martin, a latecomer to the Become a Legend contest, isn't yet on the board. Martin joined the competition less than two weeks ago.

The next Brunson 10 member will join Zachary Clark, Amit Makhija, Chris Moorman, Dani Stern, Alex Kamberis and Steve Gross on The Brunson 10. Doyle Brunson, poker's biggest legend, will continue to handpick members for his group of young, elite poker players until the team is packed with 10 of the world's best legends-in-the-making.
