Guy Laliberté, Brian Rast Odds to Win World Series of Poker Big One For One Drop

Guy Laliberté had 5/1 odds of winning the World Series of Poker Big One For One Drop while poker pro Brian Rast was coming in at 7/1 odds at Ladbrokes.com

Laliberté is the 52-year-old founder and chief executive officer of Canada's famous Cirque du Soleil circus troupe. Originally a street performer, Laliberté currently owns 95 percent of the company. According to Forbes Magazine, his net worth is $1.5 billion (U.S.), making him the 654th richest man in the world. His most notable tournament success came in the form of a fourth-place finish in a 2007 World Poker Tour event. He became Canada's first private explorer in space and the first to engage in a Poetic Social Mission in space. He is also the founder of the One Drop Foundation, a philanthropic foundation to fight poverty in the world by giving everyone access to water and of course the beneficiary in this great event.

His biggest cash to date: 4th-place finish in 2007 WPT Five Star World Poker Classic — $696,220.

Rast comes to us from Las Vegas, Nevada.  He has amassed over $2.8 million in live tournament play to date including 20 money finishes and 2 wins, both of which were at the World Series of Poker, earning Rast two bracelets. 

Ladbrokes has released odds to win the World Series of Poker Big One For One Drop 2012 now that the final table has been determined. Ladbrokes does not accept customers from the US at this time unfortunately, but those around the world can take advantage of these odds appearing below. 

The $1 million buy-in will reward the biggest cash prize ever in the history of live poker tournaments, $18.3 million and some change.

The Big One For One Drop tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN starting at 3 pm ET.
