Frederik Jensen Wins 2012 EPT Madrid

Frederik Jensen of Denmark has won the 2012 European Poker Tour Madrid and the €495,000 cash that goes with that honor.

Jensen’s overall live tournament winnings are now over $2 million.  With 11 cashes, this is the first time the Dane has finished in 1st place.

His biggest win to date came just over two years ago at the Aussie Millions Main Event where he finished in 2nd place and walked away with just shy of $1.2 million. 

He has also come in 3rd at the EPT Monte Carlo – Season 6 No Limit Hold’em with winnings totaling $147,612.
