This year’s finalists for the Poker Hall of Fame have been announced with Daniel Negreanu making the list for his first year of eligibility.

Negreanu is the biggest money earner in poker, having taken in nearly $30 million at live tournaments to date.  He is just 40 years old.

In addition to Negreanu, others who made the list include Jennifer Harman, Costa Rican pro Humberto Brenes, Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, Chris Bjorin, Huck Seed, Bruno Fitoussi, Bob Hooks, Ted Forrest and Jack McClelland.

Bjorin is Sweden’s all-time money earner and leader in World Series of Poker bracelet wins.

Fitoussi is credited with introducing hold’em poker in France.
