As has been the case throughout the weekend, the 2009 Irish Poker Open Tournament has been led by names that most people are not familiar with although there are two relatively big names sitting at the final table.

Gambling911.com will be rooting for fellow UK journalist, Kara Scott.  She is seated in the number 4 position.

Having trained in Muay Thai while she lived in Canada, she landed the job of sports presenter for Five martial arts show "Now is the Time: Night of Combat" and moved on to associate produce the show as well.

She was the host of the first televised backgammon series, High Stakes Backgammon, produced from the 2005 World Backgammon Championships for Game TV in Canada and Pokerzone in the UK. Kara also hosted the first series of "World Series of Backgammon",® link title in 2006 which aired across Europe on Eurosport, Poker Channel Europe and Game TV in Canada.

In 2007, Scott lost a prop bet to Chris Tessaro, Host of The Hardcore Poker Radio Show, resulting in her having to do her commentary from the EPT San Remo while dressed in a bunny suit.  Did we mention she must have looked pretty hot in a bunny suit.
