Regardless of where he finished at this year’s World Series of Poker Big One for One Drop, Daniel Negreanu had become the biggest money earner of all time in poker.

Negreanu was guaranteed over $8 million with a 2rd place finish and $15 million if he were to finish in 1st place finish.  Heading into Tuesday night, Negreanu was among the remaining two players.  Daniel Colman was the other player vying for the top prize at this year’s $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop and ultimately it was he who won, not Negreanu, though we here at Gambling911.com won't be shedding any tears for an $8 million loser.

Prior to this event, Negreanu was $3.5 million poorer than the all-time biggest money earner in poker, Antonio Esfandiari.  It was the inaugural One Drop that landed Esfandiari on top, where he has sat for nearly two years.
