Antonio Esfandiari is Beyond Sick! Eyes Another Big Money WSOP Title

Last year’s winner of the World Series of Poker One Drop, with the biggest prize ever given out in a single tournament, Antonio Esfandiari, is on a tear once again.

Having made the top 26 pf this year's One Drop High Roller, Esfandiari is already guaranteed a cool $173,723 but, because he was among the top five chip leaders heading into Friday, one can expect he’ll be getting more than double that amount.  Esfandiari won a whopping $18.3 million at last year’s One Drop event, making him the top tournament money earner of all time.

The top 5 finishers will walk away with more than $1 million each from this year’s $111,111 buy-in tournament. The ultimate champion will be paid out just shy of $5 million.

Mike Sexton, Dan Shak, Phil Laak, Matt Glantz and Shaun Deeb are just a few of the big name pros that have survived to go forward Friday.
