"Swede" and his new bride "Cynthial" met on the online casino forum - CasinoMeister.com. The two shared a common love, that of gambling, even though their hearts were worlds apart - his in Sweden, hers in the US.

Eventually the two would meet halfway in London. They had never seen each other outside of their virtual world until this time. But none of that would matter. This virtual love affair would soon turn into an all out physical attraction. Following a brief "date", the two would make mad passionate love and eventually moved in with one another. "Swede" closed his antiques shop back home. The two have since opened a restaurant in New Mexico on the historic Route 66.

This is not the first romance that came to bloom via Internet chat room sessions and it will not be the last.

There have actually been one or two online dating networks that have popped up in recent years devoted exclusively to those who love Internet poker and casino games.

"I believe these types of dating networks and relationships have a much better chance of leading to more long term relationships," expressed Gambling911.com's own Jenny Woo who last year found love on Match.com, a more traditional dating format. "For me, Match.com was great for meeting someone I was physically attractive too plus he was a professional with money. But he doesn't know anything about sports and poker and spends more time in the bathroom getting ready to go out than I do."

Marc - her brain surgeon beau - also is prone to yell his own name out during "sex" and "recites patient appointments in his sleep".

"I find relationships with poker players more rewarding, deeper and creative," Woo espoused. "There is a certain skill level and mental state that plays out during the game and this will often transform itself between the covers or over the kitchen sink. Not with Marc though. He's one dimensional and our romantic intensity level is measured with controlled pin point accuracy, much the way he inserts his tools into a patient's cerebrum.  Only on rare occasions will he be so worked up to have me pinned up against the window of his penthouse, leaving smears for his undocumented Mexican housekeeper to clean up the next day.  Sometimes a girl just wants to be taken over the edge and allowed to discard all her inhibitions. Gamblers thrive on that edge."

As for "Swede" and "Cynthial", the two are now engaged to be married and plan on having six kids.
