An online poker room has filed a lawsuit against the parent company of Full Tilt Poker and 2010 World Series of Poker finalist Michael Mizrachi.
Deliverance Poker claims that Mizrachi was supposed to represent the online card room by wearing their hats and other clothing articles. Instead, Mizrachi elected to wear Full Tilt gear. The suit alleges “breach of contract”.
A review of the Deliverance Poker site, which does not have a very strong presence on Google Search, shows all four Mizrachi brothers as “representatives” for that company. No word yet on that relationship and whether any of the brothers have confirmed any type of arrangement with Deliverance.
The suit claims the brothers signed a contract in June 2009. Specifically, Michael was to receive $150,000 and a 1.75 percent ownership stake in the company. Deliverance claims that Mizrachi was in compliance up until the start of the 2010 WSOP. Thereafter he signed a deal with Full Tilt Poker.
No money amount is mentioned in the lawsuit.
Mizrachi commented on his Twitter page in response to the suit: “Remember there are two sides to every story. I look forward to telling my side and the truth coming out.”
