US President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron will not be getting any beer, at least not as part of their World Cup bet against one another.

Both leaders bet their national beers on their national teams but a draw Saturday resulted in no alcohol consumption.

"The President wagered the best lager against the best beer in America on an American win over England," according to the White House.

Obama told Cameron that if history proves correct, he'll be sipping Britain's finest lager by 5 p.m.

"The President noted that the historical record of previous World Cup matches between the United States and England favors the United States," said a White House official.

Obama had placed a similar bet with the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and lost during the Winter Olympics hockey final.
