Miss Michigan Wins Miss USA After Tripping

Despite tripping over her own gown, Miss Michigan Rima Fakih managed to win the Miss USA 2010 pageant. 

On Twitter, one person tweeted:

"Um so the girl who tripped on stage and later said that birth control was a controlled substance, just won miss usa???? wow....."

The 24-year-old won ahead of first runner-up Miss Oklahoma.

Miss Oklahoma became first runner-up, ahead of Miss Virginia, Miss Colorado and Miss Maine.

 

Miss California was heavily favored to become the next Miss USA but did not even make the final five. 

Miss Michigan was listed with +1200 odds to win for a payout of $120 on every $10 bet at Sportsbook.com.
