Kevin Durant’s days in Phoenix were coming to an end and the oddsmakers at BetOnline saw this one coming back in early April.

Things had been sideways all season with the Suns, and they really took a turn around the trade deadline when Durant, Bradley Beal and even Kevin Booker were reported to be on the block.

Speculation ran rampant as to where the 36-year-old Durant might take his twilighting talents to next, and BetOnline.ag set the Houston Rockets as the 2/1 favorites paying out $200 for every $100 bet

That became a reality on Sunday June 22.

Per ESPN Insider Shams Charania, the Phoenix Suns have agreed on a blockbuster trade, sending Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the draft and five second-round picks, sources told ESPN on Sunday.

The trade can be formally completed when the new league year begins July 6.
