Chris Moorman of Doyles Room Wins Big Online Poker Tournament

What does online poker player Chris Moorman have in common with George Foreman and Muhammad Ali? All three will go down in history as legendary fighters. Chris Moorman of The Brunson 10, DoylesRoom.com's team of elite poker players, knocked out the competition in The Sunday Brawl online poker tournament on March 14, adding $109,620 to his millions in poker tournament winnings.

Moorman dealt blow after blow after blow to online poker players in the tournament, taking down 21 players on the way to his first place finish. He earned $40 for each player he picked off in addition to the prize pool money.

His latest win is one in a string of consistently strong finishes in online poker tournaments and live events around the world, an achievement his colleagues have taken notice of. In 2009, Moorman was ranked #1 worldwide on PocketFives.com's list of online poker tournament players and he ranked fourth in both CardPlayer's and Bluff's Online Player of the Year Leaderboard rankings.

Chris Moorman joined The Brunson 10 in September 2009 as the fourth member of Doyle Brunson's team of elite pros. Moorman's over $1.9 million in lifetime winnings include 10 career titles and 159 cashes, made up of online poker successes and several land-based poker achievements.
