Limit Change Alert Feature Teased for SpankOdds

The much anticipated Spank Odds Service is set to debut shortly.  As a teaser, the brains behind the product, professional sports bettor Gadoon “Spanky” Kyrollos of New Jersey, released a teaser for the Limit Change Alert feature on Wednesday.

For example, you will know the limits that can be bet on specific baseball games at Pinnacle Sports.

"Say you go to hockey, we got Pinnacle taking 10 dimes on a total and 20 dimes on a moneyline," Spanky reveals.  "(Bet)CRIS is a five, five, and ten."

He explains that every different sport is going to have varying limits right now as it is early in the season.

"It's important to know what the limits are," Spanky says.  "A line without a limit is like a house without a neighborhood."

Good analogy.

Breaking Down The Bills

Curtis from AcePerHead talks Buffalo Bills football as we quickly approach the new season.

Josh Allen is ranked #3 QB in the NFL, Gabriel Davis gains 17 pounds, and the Bills have a highly ranked offensive line.

What's not to like?

The Bills enter the season as the odds-on favorites to win the 2023 Super Bowl at +650, two points shorter odds than the Tampa Bay Bucs and three points shorter than the Kansas City Chiefs.

No Guarantees When it Comes to Ohio Sports Betting Licenses

Just because you apply, doesn't mean you will receive.

Ohio Casino Control Commission Executive Director Matt Schuler made that abundantly clear at Wednesday’s monthly meeting, noting that those applying for sports betting licenses are not guaranteed to receive one.

All applicants will go through a rigorous process that includes background checks related to finances, criminal and business history.

“I don’t want anybody to think for a minute that this is a rubber-stamp activity,” Schuler said.

Sports betting in Ohio is not likely to begin until January 2023 the earliest.

Slow June for PA

The sports betting handle in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania was down over 20% from month to month in the month of June (2022).  $393.5 million was wagered over this time period.  Retail saw a decent $29.5 million in wagers.

There was $23 million in overall revenue for a 5.8% hold.

These numbers pushed overall betting revenue in the state since its inception to over $1.1 billion.

Pennsylvania has a flat-rate personal income tax of 3.07% for all taxable income from gambling winnings. The state and its counties collect tax revenue from all sports betting activities at 34% and 2%, respectively.  Pay Per Head bookie providers will continue to see high demand here as a result, that much is for sure.
