Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury Betting Odds Released

The February 26 date is now official for a much anticipated bout between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, one that's been widely discussed for the past two years now.  Yes, it's finally happening.

Paul and Fury faced off to officially announce their fight on this date in Saudi Arabia. It will be featured exclusively on BT Sport and ESPN Plus.

The books initially opened Paul at +120 and Fury at -150.  Paul has since made a name for himself and he's now listing as the -200 favorite with Fury at +160.

The fight will be contested at 185 pounds and is contracted for eight rounds.

Paul and Fury, half-brother of heavyweight great Tyson Fury, were supposed to fight twice before. Fury had to pull out the first time due to an illness and the second time as a result of travel issues coming into the United States, hence the reason we have "official" in quotes in our headline when it comes to the February 26 date.

Paul still fought other opponents during this wait period and won. He fought former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a rematch and knocked him out.

"The moment of truth has finally arrived," Paul said in a statement. "On Feb. 26, I will get in the ring with a 'real boxer,' an 8-0 fighter from a storied fighting family and show the world the truth about who Jake Paul, the boxer really is."

"With the consumption of YouTube content per capita in Saudi Arabia remaining one of the highest in the world, the highly anticipated bout featuring one of its most renowned personalities-turned-boxer, Jake Paul, will be amongst the most-viewed events globally," SCEE chairman Prince Khaled bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said in a statement.

The fight comes two weeks after one of the most wagered on sports events of the year, the Super Bowl.  February could prove to be a banner month for the sportsbooks as a result.  Stay tuned.
