Freddie Kitchens Fired at -150 Odds as His Fate to be Determined Sunday

Cleveland Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens fate was up in the air Sunday following another loss, this time to the lowly Cincinnati Bengals. Sportsbetting.ag listing him with -150 odds not to return to coaching the team in 2020.  According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network two weeks ago, the Browns organization made it clear that Kitchens job could be secure barring an epic collapse.  But that's exactly what happened.  They fired him Sunday evening

"We thank Freddie for his hard work and commitment to this organization but did not see the success or opportunities for improvement to move forward with him as our head coach," the Haslams said. "Our focus is on hiring an exceptional leader for this football team and we will take a comprehensive approach to this process. We are excited about the core players we have to build around and develop and we look forward to bringing in a strong head coach that will put this group of players in the best position to succeed."

Browns fans seem more than willing to cut the strings.

To think the Browns-Bengals game might have been the one most worth watching in the early part of Sunday afternoon.
