Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns betting odds were available for the first week of the 2009 NFL season.

Minnesota was a -3 point road favorite in Cleveland and we suspect a lot of people will be betting on the Vikings at this number at Sportsbetting.com.  Early on in the week nearly all the betting action was going Minnesota's way, but that will change, especially as the line changes.  The trend has the line moving all the way up to -4 ½ in order to encourage some betting on the Browns.  Gambling911.com strongly suggests locking in the -3 odds now at Sportsbetting.com if you like the Vikings.  This line will move!

It's proven commodities (The Vikings, Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson) vs. unimpressive question marks (The Cleveland Browns quarterback situation and aging running back Jamal Lewis).

The last time these two teams met in 2005, Minnesota won at home by 12 points.  There is not a whole lot of head-to-head action to review for this game however.

Important betting trends are also hard to come by.  The most important one we could find is that  the Browns are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0.

The Cleveland +3 line is like a trap in our eyes but none of us are about to bet on Cleveland just yet.

Minnesota Vikings 2009 odds had them winning the NFC division as a 13/8 favorite.
