The book appears to be running smoothly, however, Gambling911.com can confirm that "Tony", who has already been identified in other media outlets as Sean Creighton of Morgantown, West Virginia, was the sole owner of 5Dimes Sportsbook.

"Tony", now 42, arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica with two High School friends, one of whom has remained close to him to this day.  Another, the ex-girlfriend of "Tony", is a close friend of the Gambling911.com website.

One close associate of "Tony", who wished to remain unnamed, said that, despite his many flaws, he would never steal from customers.

"5Dimes is a well oiled machine that can run forever without him," this individual tells us.

But he also provided this ominous prediction: "I'm afraid people will start stealing without Tony there at some point."

This person also confirmed to G911 that "Tony" did not have security, contrary to some published reports.

"He was encouraged to get security but (he) said he didn't need any."

It is not immediately known what will become of 5Dimes should "Tony" not be returned safely.

His current wife told authorities she paid $750K ransom via Bitcoin and have yet to hear back.  Experts familiar with the 5Dimes operation were quick to suggest this to be a fraction of what 5Dimes would have on hand.

"Tony" was last seen September 25 in the area of San Isidro, Heredia and driving a Porsche Cayenne Turbo vehicle.

5Dimes has been in business since 1998.
