The Cleveland Browns look like they could be the worst team in the NFL this season. It's bad enough they play in a division with Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Their odds of winning anything are drastically reduced thanks to a quarterback controversy and now an apparent running back controversy as well.
Rookie James Davis might be making a push to unseat Jamal Lewis for the coveted running back position, according to Ohio.com.

Lewis has been a bit of an enigma since he had such a standout season for the Browns in 2007.
He reported to camp in 2008 looking fitter, trimmer and quicker.
Then he had a bust of a 2008, averaging just 3.6 yards per carry and barely gaining 1,000 yards. The general thinking was that Lewis' season went south with the team's, that there was little blocking and less room to run.
But Saturday, he looked a little tentative and decidedly unquick. On one play, he fell over himself as he jitterbugged to make a move.
Davis looked quick, decisive and aggressive.
Then there's the quarterback uncertainty, which we already know about. It's an open competition between Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn, neither of whom looked very promising last season. Anderson was 3-6 in his starts with 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Quinn went 1-2 with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
The only thing going for Cleveland in 2009 is a relatively "soft" schedule, but even that might not help the Browns get over 7 games. The Browns are a -196 favorite to win UNDER 7 games.
