81-Year-Old Poker Pro Doyle Brunson Surgery a Success: Gall Bladder Removed

81-year-old poker pro Doyle Brunson (AKA “The Texas Dolly”) revealed Friday evening that surgery to remove his gall bladder went off without a hitch.  That wasn’t all the doctors fixed, however.

Brunson tweeted:

“Surgeon took out 8 marble size stone, repaired a hernia, rerouted bile flow and removed gall bladder.”

And pictures don’t lie.  Brunson posted a photograph of his 81-year-old failing organs.

The two-time World Series of Poker Main Event champion and Poker Hall of Fame inductee continues to play in tournament though he’s slowed things down in recent years.
