Poker Pro Annie Duke Gets a Facelift

Annie Duke is back after enduring a few years of criticism for her role representing shuttered online poker room UB.com and perhaps more so for being the sister of disgraced Full Tilt Poker headman Howard Lederer. Full Tilt Poker still owes millions to US players.

Duke has mostly been in hiding…until now….and she’s getting a makeover.

Annie has re-emerged as a “Decision Making Expert” and a "Professional Speaker & Good Decision Maker" via her LinkedIn.com page.  There’s certainly an irony here in that Ms. Duke hasn’t exactly made the best decisions in recent years.

As raised on the TwoPlusTwo.com posting forum, Annie boasts that she is "An engaged activist and philanthropist, Annie Duke has leveraged her success and celebrity to champion great causes around the world !"

A respondent on TwoPlusTwo responded that “she is basically Satan”.

Secret meetings with an alleged cheater working at UB.com, Russ Hamilton, suggest that Duke herself utilized a tool that exposed player hole cards.

In addition to that particular scandal and her relationship to Lederer, Duke is viewed by many in the poker community as condescending. 

Nevertheless, she's back and better than ever, if you are to believe Annie.

This is one broad a lot of people in the world of poker probably wish would have just stayed in hiding.
