The final tablists of the 2009 Aussie Millions Main Event, are as follows:

Stewart Scott 4,520,000

Peter Rho 2,420,000

Rajkumar Ramakrishnan 2,050,000

Zachary Gruneberg 1,355,000

Sam Capra 1,161,000

Elliot Smith 1,120,000

Richard Ashby 658,000

Barny Boatman 349,000

Stewart Scott is an Australian poker player who, to date, is not very well known.  He will be after the 2009 Aussie Millions final concludes regardless of whether he should win the event or not.  Scott finished the day with more than a two million chip lead over his nearest competitors Peter Rho and Rajkumar Ramakrishnan (try saying that one three times real fast).

Rho is from Long Beach, California and has total live tournament winnings to date of $257,191 with more on the way.

Richard Ashby is the Watford, United Kingdom player who has cashed 39 times and has nearly $400,000 in total career live tournament winnings.

The big news is the player that is last among the final table in terms of total chip count and that would be Barny Boatman.  He's the most known of the final 8 players and had 349,000 chips coming into the final.  He's yet another British player.

During his lengthy poker career, Boatman became one of the pioneers of poker on television by regularly appearing in the Late Night Poker television series. He was also the first person to reach 3 consecutive final tables at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), and came close to winning a WSOP bracelet.

Boatman's total live tournament winnings exceed $1,200,000.

As for Annette Obrestad, she was eliminated and did not exit quietly.

It was sometime-Bluff Europe contributor Wesley Whybrew who said of Annette Obrestad's play: "she's full of s*** 85% of the time."

According to Bluff, Obrestad said "Jesus Christ, what the hell are you doing?" to fellow player Zack Fellow.

The board ran ragged to ship Fellows a 900,000 pot. Disgusted, Obrestad refused to shake his hand.

Later on in the day she received a 5 minute penalty for using her mobile phone at the table. Even later, she was eliminated. Not a great day all round, then.
