Gambling911.com readers my recall that our own Jenny Woo interviewed Morningside Addiction and Recovery expert, Dr. Elizabeth Waterman, Psy.D., recently for a piece on Nomophobia.  It is not immediately known whether Lindgren learned of Morningside as a result of Woo’s interview.

“I’ve had a gambling problem for a long time and I’ve finally got the opportunity to address it,” said Lindgren during his two-week stay at Morningside Recovery.

“ I could check myself in and after some long thought and checking my ego at the door, I came here,” The multiple World Poker Tour title winner added.

As of 2011, Lingren’s total live tournament winnings exceed $8,450,000.  His 28 cashes at the WSOP account for $2,286,129 of those winnings.  He received his first bracelet in 2008.
