You would think he may have retired by now after winning that record-setting $18 million at this year’s World Series of Poker Big One For One Drop, but Antonio Esfandiari is hardly content with that feat.

Esfandiari has won his 3rd WSOP bracelet and a measly €126,207.

Likewise, he has surpassed October Niner Greg Merson in the WSOP Player of the Year race.   The World Series of Poker takes into account all bracelet events held within a calendar year, officially culminating with the Main Event winner.  No waiting until November this year as we will have our first ever October Nine.

Esfandiari is poker’s biggest moneymaker to date thanks to his big summer win.

Here were your finalists in this event:

  • Antonio Esfandiari – € 126,207
  • Remi Bollengier – € 78,059
  • Salvatore Bonavena – € 57,079
  • Antonin Teisseire – € 42,356
  • Valentin Detoc – € 31,869
  • McLean Karr – € 24,309
  • Ashly Butler – € 18,798
  • Jamel Haddad – € 14,736

Florian Ciuro – € 11,707
