The Big One For One Drop Will Determine Final Table Overnight

The World Series of Poker Big One For One Drop final nine will be determined most likely during the overnight hours Monday into Tuesday morning with 37 players still remaining out of 48.  The million dollar buy-in tournament will pay the largest sum of money to the winner in the history of poker tournaments, $18.3 million.

Big name poker pro Michael Mizrachi was eliminated Sunday night along with Justin Smith (1st elimination), Jens Kyllönen, Jonathan Duhamel, Paul Phua, Erik Seidel, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Nick Schulman, Eugene Katchalov, Giovanni Guarascio and Andrew Robl. 

The chip leaders coming into Day 2 were Brian Rast and WSOP record bracelet holder Phil Hellmuth.  Denmark’s Gus Hansen won his way into the event via a special WSOP satellite and was the 5th biggest chip leader heading into Day 2.

Paul Galfond and Daniel Negreanu were sitting in the basement heading into the second day of play.

Favorite to win, Phil Ivey, was sitting in 26th place.

This is a 3-day event.
