Somehow young poker player Joe Cassidy managed to deny two World Series of Poker multi-bracelet winners, Phil Ivey and Scotty Nguyen, from capturing another.  And consider this, between the two of them, Ivey and Nguyen have a total of 13 WSOP bracelets.

For Cassidy, this is his first upon winning the Event #24: Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better.  With that bracelet he also receives a sweet $294,777.  That will go on top of his lifetime live tournament winnings of just over $1.3 million.

This event started four days ago with 256 players.  Cassidy went head to head with Nguyen Thursday afternoon following Ivey bowing out in third place Wednesday evening.
